HartX.Net 5.0 is a .Net Object for the HART Communication Protocol .
It is based on the HartDLL 4.1 (under development). It supports the complete
functionality of HartDLL 4.0 and offers features as state of the art under
.Net.
HartDLL 5.0 is a Windows master driver for the HART Protocol.
It is implemented as a simple DLL. It can be used by all application
environments supporting standard windows library call such as console
applications. It runs under all Windows versions from Windows 98 up to
Windows XP Professional. One day of consulting support by internet (on site
if travel is paid) is included in the package. The driver fully compatible
to the Hart Communication Specification Revision 6 and 7.
FrameAlyst is a Hart Protocol analyzer which which can be used as
an add on to our Windows Hart Protocol DLL. It supports several speeds (for
multiplexer applications) and it is supporting Hart Revision 6 and 7. It is used
to analyze the data flow and the timing in the Hart Communication services.
HartX 3.0 is a Windows master driver for the HART protocol.
It is implemented as a so called OCX and therefore can be used in a lot of
environments such as Visual Basic, Borland Builder, Delphi,
Visual Studio 6.0, Visual Studio.Net, LabView
and many others. It runs under all Windows versions from Windows 98 up to
Windows XP Professional. The package is available
Free of Charge. Please send Email to
Borst Automation to get a copy of the fully
functional software package. However the software is only
compatible to the Hart 5.x Specifications.
The original design of HartX 3.0 was based on real com ports. This
implied that the com port may not disappear all of a sudden. However,
exactly this happens if a USB cable for a com port is disconnected during
communication.
This requires a completely different handling in the states of the driver.
This handling is already implemented in the HartDLL 5.0.
For users who like to continue with the HartX 3.0 we are providing this
patch solving the problem with USB com ports.
The HART slave implementation is optimized for very small embedded
systems (e.g. 8031, 6805). The interface is designed as simple as
possible to provide an easy integration into any embedded environment. The
implementation does not require any operating system. The software package
is available FREE of charge!
In embedded software development it is state of the art to run
the
software targeted to the embedded system within a Visual
Studio environment
in order to develop and test it by high level debugging tools. Also analysis
are much easier in a VS workbench. We offer to develop the framework to
simulate the interfaces for your device software on a PC platform. Because
the realization of a framework like this is very much depending on your
individual needs, the interfaces of the original target, the depth of the
simulation and the interfaces of an eventual operating system this service
can only be based on an individual quote.
